Innovation With an Ethical Conscience

Performance has always pushed us to innovate. Responsibility pushes us to do it better. At Orage, we’re continuously rethinking how our products are designed, made and delivered. From reducing plastic packaging to choosing more responsible materials and building products that last, every decision is an opportunity to reduce our impact.

A Small Idea for a Big Impact

The Loop

Most of our products arrive tightly rolled and secured by The Loop, an integrated compression band designed to keep garments neatly packed and protected during transport without traditional plastic packaging.
It’s a simple solution built directly into the product, allowing us to eliminate unnecessary packaging before it ever reaches you. 80% of our collection ships without polybags. Less plastic. Less waste. One small design detail with a much bigger purpose.

Materials Matter

What goes into our products matters
as much as how they perform. Across our collections, we continue to prioritize materials and treatments that reduce environmental impact while maintaining the durability, protection and performance we expect from our gear.

Made to Last

One of the most meaningful ways we can reduce our impact is by creating products you can use longer.
That philosophy influences everything from our choice of rugged fabrics to oversized zippers, reinforced construction and durable trims. We design for demanding conditions, repeated use and winters that don’t go easy on your gear.
Because the longer a product stays in use, the less often it needs to be replaced.

Responsibility doesn’t stop with materials

The People Behind the Product

Twice a year, our team visits our manufacturing partners to see firsthand where and how our products are made and to help ensure employees are working in good conditions.
It’s part of maintaining closer relationships with the people behind our products and holding ourselves and our partners to the standards we believe in.

Always Moving Forward

There is no single solution. There is always another material to reconsider, another process to improve and another opportunity to reduce waste. We modernize. We adapt. We listen. And we keep working toward a more responsible way to make the gear that takes us outside.
